Our Birds

Pure white ‘Rock Doves’ (Homing Pigeons) are used for our releases. Homing Pigeons possess a natural ‘homing’ instinct. Our birds enjoy flying and have received the finest care and hours of flight training. They are specially trained to fly home after each release. They cannot be released in inclement weather, and all releases must take place at least two hours before sunset to allow ample time for our doves to return home safely.

The domestic Ring Neck Dove has no homing ability and will easily fall prey to local predators. They should never be used in a ceremonial dove release.
